Using the DVD player

Use the 5/∞ cursors to move the pointer
[SUBUTITLE].

Use the 2/3 cursors to select the desired subtitle.
Each time you press the 2/3 cursors, the subtitle changes.

• The selected language may abbreviated on the TV screen. See
"Appendix A: Table of languages and their abbreviations" in this
manual.

(for SVCD)
Notes:
• An SVCD disc can have up to four subtitles.
• If no subtitle is recorded on the channel selected, no subtitle
appears on the TV screen.
To turn off the on-screen display
Press DVD ON SCREEN.
Changing the audio language or sound
[AUDIO]
Some DVD discs contain multiple audio tracks. With
such discs, you can choose which audio track to listen to
during playback.
At the beginning of "multi-audio language" parts,
the TV screen.

From the remote controls:

sound changes.

Changing the audio channel [AUDIO]

For in some karaoke Video CDs or SVCDs, one of
the audio channels includes a vocal while the other
does not. With such discs, you can choose to enjoy
karaoke without the vocal or with the vocal by selecting
the audio channel to be played back.

From the remote controls:

Select the audio channel(s) to be played back
using the 2/3 cursors.
