4.2 SERVICE PROGRAM MODE

4.2.1 SERVICE PROGRAM MODE OPERATION

The service program (SP) mode is used to check electrical data, change modes,
and adjust values.

Service Program Access Procedure

How to Enter the SP Mode
1) Press the following keys in sequence.

• Hold the & (Clear/Stop) key for more than 3 seconds.
2) A menu of SP modes is displayed on the LCD.
NOTE: 1) The installed applications appear as 1. Copy, 2. Fax, 3. Printer, 4.
Scanner. If an application is not installed, the application name does
not appear.
2) The meaning of the bottom line is as follows.
• "A267XXXX" is the part number of the BICU board software.
• "(ver X. X. XX)" is the BICU board software version.
3) Press the number for the application which you need (e.g. press "1" for
copier). Then, the application's SP mode display will appear, as shown.
How to Exit SP Mode
Press the "Back" and "Exit" keys or " (Clear Modes) key until the standby mode
display appears.
