TROUBLESHOOTING

PROCESSING SPEEDS

During normal use, the phone may slow down depending on how many processes are active at the time.
For example, when using the Android Marketplace, the phone may attempt to download and install several
apps at once. This will cause the phone to slow down and apps may crash. If updating several apps at a time,
it is suggested to let the phone complete all downloads and installations before using larger apps, such as
games. If there are any additional problems while downloading several apps at a time, you may have to enter
the Android Marketplace and update one app at a time manually.

ANDROID UPDATE

An Android update is available for the HTC Aria. Should you choose to update the phone's operating
system, it will reset the phone to factory settings. All files stored on the phone, settings and other files will be
removed from the phone. The Google account can be used to back up contacts, which can be reinstalled
when logging back into the phone after the reset.
This update will add an additional feature to the phone. If there is an installed memory card, then some of
the installed apps can be set to run off of the memory card. This will save space in the phone's internal
memory. Not all apps are transferrable and some may still store data on the phone.
It is recommended to update the phone before personalization.
