    4. Introduction The MVC300 camera is a sleek and compact video recording device perfect for in-car mounting: an ideal solution if you want to capture any significant events that might occur on the road. It can also be used to augment any fleet management system with added video surveillance.

    6. Setting up your camera Configuration of the camera is done through its WebUI. To access the WebUI, connect the camera to your PC by Ethernet cable and make sure your PC belongs to the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. 1. Type http://192.168.1.10 into your internet browser’s address field in order to reach the camera’s WebUI.

    5. Click on Network menu and open Firewall tab. 6. Enable DMZ and type camera‘s IP address (192.168.1.10). Press Save to apply new settings. 7. Click on Status menu and open Network Information tab. 8. Check section to find out public IP address (IPv4 address) of the router.

    7.2. OpenVPN VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a method for secure data transfer through unsafe public network. OpenVPN client configuration can be used to overcome the situation when your operator does not provide public IP address. OpenVPN server should be set up on the PC with public IP address. OpenVPN installer can be obtained from http://openvpn.net/index.php/download.html.
