Using the Access History

30 of the most recently browsed files and time of browsing are automatically listed in
the access history. The access history displays the files in a list (10 documents) or in
a thumbnail (3 documents) format. The thumbnail displays the most recently
accessed page.
In addition, files can be opened from the access history. Follow the following steps.
• The access history displays the files in order from the most recent to the oldest.
4
• The displayed order of the access history is unaffected by changes in the time and
date setting from "Configuring the time and date" on page 72. Although changes in
the time and date setting are reflected in the access time and date, the access
history is displayed in the order of the actual accessed time and date.
• When files with an older history are reopened, the file displays at the top of the list
and the older file history is deleted. Two of the same files cannot be displayed.
• The access history display format of 10 and 3 documents can be changed from
"Configuring the display format of the access history" on page 66.
• When content is displayed from an item in the access history while in Bookmarks
jump mode, the Bookmarks jump mode cancels.
• The file names in the Security folder are displayed when the Security folder is open.
When the folder is closed, "Security document" is displayed instead of the file name.
Blank thumbnails are displayed in thumbnail format.
When it is closed, the access history is not displayed.
