Troubleshooting

No sound
1 . Check that the battery is fully charged or that the unit is correctly connected to an
alternative power source via the USB cable.
2 . Check all audio cables are connected properly.
3. If trying to use Bluetooth mode, check that Bluetooth is properly connected and the
LED indicator light is in solid blue state. Also check that the volume level is not set too
low or the mute button has been pressed.
Background hiss or buzzing
1. Check that your audio source volume is not set at 100% as this can cause distortion.
Set the volume to between 70-75% and use the volume control on your speaker as the
master volume control.
2. The sound quality can also be affected by low battery power, always try to ensure the
batteries are fully charged before beginning playback, for optimum sound reproduction
leave the speaker connected to a power source via the USB cable during playback.
Speaker sound quality issues
Otone portable speakers will give you excellent sound quality, if you find any unusual
sound, please check to see if the audio cable connectors are oxidized, or speaker cable
terminals are loose.
