Using Bluetooth devices

Using Bluetooth
devices
The handset is Bluetooth wireless
technology compatible.
By using with other Bluetooth devices
such as a mobile phone and headset,
the following features are available:
– Copying phonebook entries from your
mobile phone to a handset (page 52)
– Having a hands-free conversation by
registering a Bluetooth headset to a
handset (page 54)
Important:
L Your mobile phone and headset must
be Bluetooth wireless technology
compatible.
Turning Bluetooth on/off
You can turn Bluetooth on/off:
– Turn on to copy phonebook entries
from a mobile phone or use the
Bluetooth headset.
– Turn off to save the battery life of your
handset after using the Bluetooth
feature.

Copying phonebook
entries from a
Bluetooth mobile
phone (phonebook

transfer)

You can copy phonebook entries from
your mobile phone to a handset.

Important:
L Some mobile phones may not be
compatible with this feature.
L If a copied entry has 4 or more phone
numbers (6 max.), 3 phone numbers
are stored as one entry. The
remaining numbers are stored as a
separate entry but with the same
name in the phonebook.
L If a phonebook entry includes
additional data such as a picture, that
entry may fail to copy to the handset.

Mobile phone:
Follow the instructions of your
mobile phone to copy phonebook
entries.
L For pattern 1, 3, and 4 in step
2, you need to search for and
select the handset. The Bluetooth
PIN (default: "0000") may be
required.
