Naming your Computer

In this window, enter the
Computer name.

Select Workgroup and
e n t e r t h e n a m e o f t h e
Workgroup.
 
A l l c o m p u t e r s o n y o u r
network m ust h ave t he s ame
Workgroup name.

Click OK.

Checking the IP Address in Windows XP
The wireless adapter-­equipped computers in your network must be in the same IP
Address r ange ( see G etting S tarted i n t his m anual f or a d efinition o f I P A ddress R ange.)
To check on the IP A ddress of the adapter, please do the following:


the Local Area
Connection icon
in the task bar.

Click on Status.
