Symptom

Troubleshooting
Cause and Remedy
• The projector is not displayed in the main window of Projector
Station for Air Shot.
c See "The projector is not displayed in the main window." on
page 17.
• The browser of the computer is set to "Access the Internet
using a proxy server."
c Set to "Access the Internet without using a proxy server".
• The version of the browser is old.
c Use Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.
PC PJ Cause and Remedy
a
• The connectable projector cannot be found after
searching it.
c Simple Mode [On]
Check that the projector to be connected is selected in
[Option], [Simple Mode Setting] and [Connected
Projector]. (Computer)
Check that the Simple Mode is set to [On] in the setting
menu. (Projector)
c Simple Mode [Off].
Check the wireless and network settings of the
computer and the projector.

• You tried to connect more than 5 projectors to one
computer.
c A maximum of five projectors can be connected to one
projector.
a
• A module other than the USB wireless LAN module is
selected with Simple Mode set to [On].
c Simple Mode [On] cannot be used for a module other
than the USB wireless LAN module.
a
• Simple Mode is set to [On] and a module other than the
USB wireless LAN module is selected (when Windows
XP/2000 is logged on without using the administrator
plivileges).
c Simple Mode cannot be changed when Windows XP/
2000 is logged on without using the administrator
privileges. Log on using the administrator privileges
and set Simple Mode to [Off].

• Projector Station for Air Shot is started to install for the
first time (when Windows XP/2000 is used).
c Before using Projector Station for Air Shot, set the
Simple Mode initial setting. Insert the USB wireless
LAN module to set the Simple Mode initial setting.
When [Cancel] is selected in setting mode, Simple
Mode is set to [Off] and the initial setting cannot be
done. (The Simple Mode initial setting is done
automatically when Simple Mode is set to [On].)
