Coral SeaBeam Installation and Configuration Manual for Coral Sea Softswitch
Description
This setting controls how your IP address is
presented.
Discover global address - Coral SeaBeam
determines your public IP address. This is the
recommended setting unless your system
administrator advises otherwise.
Use local IP address - use the IP address of the
Coral SeaBeam computer.
This setting specifies the STUN server to use.
Discover server - Coral SeaBeam finds the
address of a STUN server. This is the
recommended setting.
Use specified server - use a different STUN
server. For the address, enter a domain name or an
IP address.
ICE optimizes traffic and might help with firewall
traversal.
Typically, ICE is enabled.
The appropriate setting depends on your computer
setup:
Select - If your computer is behind a restrictive
firewall that only allows specific port ranges to be
used. Enter the range of ports to use for your SIP
account. (You must also open those ports on your
firewall; refer to applicable firewall documentation
for information.)
Clear - If your computer is not behind a restrictive
firewall.
Not applicable for Windows operating systems
