    BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS ____________________________________ Press the »POWER« button to turn the machine on and off. Steno-cassette compartment, counter reset In Stop position, press the »EJECT« button. – The cover opens slowly and the counter is reset to zero (0). Insert the steno-cassette with its open side and the labelling visible into the steno-cassette compartment.

    BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS ____________________________________ Storing end-of-letter marks Insert a recorded steno-cassette that has been rewound into the tape compartment. If the steno-cassette has not been removed from the compartment since turning the unit on, press the »EJECT« button to open the compartment and then close the compart- ment by hand.

    PREPARATION _______________________________________________ Suitable location Do not place the machine on a soft surface (tablecloth, pillow etc.) as this could block the convection vents on the bottom of the unit and result in overheating. Do not cover or insert any objects in the convection vents in the dictation machine's housing.
