Loading Media Use only Plasmon approved ISO standard 5.25 inch Magneto Optical media in the library system. Media can be loaded into the library system using one of three methods.
NOTE: There is not a requirement to load the media in a specific order. Plasmon does recommend that the storage slots are filled in a numerical order, starting with slot number 1. NOTE: See the library system storage slot map on the inside of the rear door for the numbering system of the storage slots.

Functional Description The G-Series libraries make multiple optical disk cartridges available to computer systems for reading or writing. The G- Series libraries offer a capacity from 64 to 638 disks.

Plasmon G Series Users Guide Error Recovery and Diagnostics In the event of an error when on-line, the library system retries the operation that failed. If this operation fails, the library system will attempt to return the media cartridges to their location before the operation started, and will send an error code to the host computer.
Plasmon G Series Users Guide Importing and Exporting Bulk Magazine With the ten slot bulk magazine, up to ten pieces of media can be imported or exported from the library system. The library system can remain On-Line while the ten slot bulk magazine is removed and reinserted.
