PREPARING THE CAMERA

Installing the Batteries

You can use two AA size batteries to power the camera. Make sure that the
power of the digital camera is off before inserting or removing the batteries.
1. Make sure that the digital camera is
turned off.
2. Open the battery/SD card cover.
3. Insert the batteries in the correct
orientation as shown in the illustration.
4. Close the battery/SD card cover.
To remove the batteries, first turn
the camera off, then hold the
camera with the battery/SD card
cover facing upward before opening
the battery/SD card cover.
Be careful not to drop the batteries when opening or closing the battery/
SD card cover.
