WFMC6400 Service Tips
The water level (pressure switch) system consists of a
mechanical pressure switch and an analog pressure switch.
Mechanical Pressure Switch
The mechanical pressure switch (brown) has (3) switching
positions:
•
Water level < level 1
•
Water heating level
•
Overflow level
Analog Pressure Switch
The analog pressure switch (black) determines the different
water levels in the various wash programs. It is piezo-electric
(pressure on it generates a voltage) and generates between 0.5 -
3.5 VDC.
Its not helpful to measure the analog pressure
HINT:
switch voltage because its shown on the digital display
while the washer is in the test program.
