R key (recovery)

Under Windows Vista:
The R button starts the Mobility Center.
Under Windows XP:
The R key allows you to recreate the original factory software installation or to generate
a restore point (shapshot) in the recovery software.
Reset device to factory default setup
All personal data will be deleted from your hard disk!
► Press the R key before booting the operating system.
The factory default setup of your software installation will be restored (recovery).
Generating a restore point in the recovery software
► Press the R key after the operating system has been booted.
A restore point (snapshot) will be generated in the recovery software.
