As a result of a close relationship between the two companies, the Naim Slide was designed to allow owners of Avid turntables to use the ARO pick up arm and make accurate adjustments during installation, so any cartridge combination can be successfully used with the correct overhang.

Remove the cable clamp from the Naim arm cable. This is not required and only impedes the suspension. Attach the arm cable to the underside of the Naim Slide assembly, using the 4 x M2 bolts supplied. DO NOT USE THE SELF-TAPPING SCREWS SUPPLIED WITH THE ARM.

Fit the whole assembly to the subchassis using the M3 x 20 bolts, M3 washers and M3 nuts supplied. Do not tighten down and keep loose. Fit the arm wand making sure the arm connecting cable is not caught. Fit into the receiving socket and check movement is not restricted.
