W hen you first start your To m To m PRO navigation device, the device may need a fe w minutes to determine your GPS position and sho w your current position on the map. In future, your position will be found much faster, usually within a fe w seconds.

  • Page 17 6. Choose the date and tim e that you will make the journey you are planning. Your PRO uses IQ Routes to w ork out the best possible route at that tim e. This is useful to see ho w long a journey takes at different tim es of the day or on different days of the w eek.

  • Page 48 Tap this button w hile driving on a planned route, to avoid a roadblock or traffic congestion on the road ahead. Your PRO will suggest a ne w route w hich avoids the roads on your current route for the selected distance.
  • Page 49 Tap this button to avoid traffic delays on a planned route. It is not always possible to avoid all traffic delays. Your PRO will check for traffic delays on your route and calculate the best route to avoid all or m ost of the delays.

  • Page 77 Points of Inter- Points of Interest or POIs are useful places on the map. Here are so m e exam ples: • Restaurants • Hotels • M useu ms • Parking garages • Petrol stations : To report incorrect or missing information about an existing Point of Interest included with your map, use the Map Share service to share your corrections with the Map Share co m munity.

  • Page 92 Your To m To m PRO regularly receives information about the changing traffic conditions. If traffic jams or other incidents are found on your current route, your PRO will offer to replan your route to try and avoid any delays.
  • Page 93 Stationary traffic or road closure. Your PRO regularly looks for a faster route to your destination. If the traffic situation changes and a faster route is found, your PRO will offer to replan your journey so you can use the faster route.

  • Page 104 Note: If the type of camera you choose has a speed restriction, you can also enter the speed. A m essage confirms that your cam era has been reported to the Speed Cam era team at To m To m. You do not need to be at the location of a speed cam era to report the ne w location.
  • Page 105 This type of cam era m onitors traffic at toll road barriers. This type of speed cam era checks the average speed of vehicles betw een tw o fixed points. This type of cam era checks traffic on roads w here access is restricted. All other types of cam era that do not fall into any of the above categories.
