Always allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before refrigerator. this will avoid a build up of frost. Foods can transfer to or take in, odours from other foods. So it is essential to put foods in closed dishes or wrap them in cellophane, aluminium foil, grease-proof paper or cling film before placing them into the refrigerator.
Using the freezer Freezing The freezer is suitable for freezing fresh or cooked foods prepared in the home. It is also suitable for freezing foods purchased from supermarkets; be aware and follow the freezing instructions on the packaging. Follow the guidelines for the freezer below.
