In this section we will walk you through the steps to setup and customize the SIREN LEVEL,
DEFEAT SIREN, NEW ALERT ADVISORY, ALERT TEST, REVIEW ALERTS as well as how to
set the WEATHER BAND CHANNEL/FREQUENCY.

choose an alert type
Press button until "TIME" is displayed.
Press arrow until "ALT TYPE" is displayed.
Press button and then
Press to exit.
notes: "VOICE" Alert = Tone sound for 8 seconds followed by voice of weather broadcast for 3 minutes.
"SIREN" Alert = Tone sound for 5 minutes, or until cancelled by pressing any button.
"DISPLAY" Alert = No audible tone sound, only a text alert will scroll on the display. (Except event alerts marked
with an asterisk "*" in the Selectable Alert Reference Chart)

Press or arrow until "SIREN LEVEL" is displayed.
