MA CHINE´S SAFETY EQ UIPMENT General • Start the diamond chain saw and apply full throttle. Release the throttle control and check that the chain stops and remains stationary. If the chain rotates when the throttle control is in the "IDLE POSITION" you should W ARNING! ASSEMBLY • Pull the handle backwards. • Remove the spring holding the two "half-moons" using a screwdriver. • Press the spring down on the chain tensioner handle. Unscrew the adjusting bar nut anti-clockwise. • Remove the "halfmoons", the cup guard, o-ring and the drive sprocket. - Page 11 ASSEMBLY • Move the lever to its rear, lower position. Push in the spring on the chain tensioner handle and turn the bar nut clockwise by hand. • Release the spring. Hold the bar upwards as you move the handle forward. Note that the arm's mechanical stop shall not be reached.
