CHAIN PITCH

Chain Pitch is the distance between any three consecutive rivets, divided
by two. OREGON
1/4", .325", 3/8", .404" and 3/4".

CHAIN GAUGE

Chain gauge is the drive link's thickness where it fits into the guide-bar
groove. The industry standard for chain gauges are:
.043" (1.1mm), .050" (1.3mm), .058" (1.5mm), .063" (1.6mm)
OREGON
chain gauges of .080" (2mm) and .122" (3.1mm) are used
