4.4.1

Hard Drive management

The HDD Management menu allows you to format the hard drive or amend hard drive settings. This is only relevant
if several drives installed or several partitions created. You can choose to set these as Read/Write, Read only or
Redundant.
The menu also displays the hard drive status information, and lists the total period of time recorded.
4.4.2

Backup

Recordings made on the DVR can be transferred from the internal HDD to a USB flash drive or external hard drive,
for backup.
Connect a USB flash drive or external hard drive to a free USB port.
Select the drive you wish to backup files to, then click
Backup.
If your USB drive does not appear in the list, click
Detect.
You can choose to Erase all data on the USB drive if
necessary.
Click Stop before removing the USB drive, to ensure it
is safe to disconnect.
Search for the files you wish to back up by selecting
the type of recording, the channel, and by entering
the start and finish times, then click Add.
Tick AVI to ensure the files are backed up in an easy to
read video format.
Click Start to begin the backup.
