Homeguard DVR Instruction Manual
The SEARCH menu allows you to play files recorded
on the DVR.
Select the type of recording, start and finish times and
channel you wish to search, then click Search.
Double click on the selected recording to start
playback in the selected window.
In Playback mode, the controls below appear at the
under the main screen when the playback window is
selected. These can be used to navigate through the
video like a DVD player.
The ALARM menu is used to adjust alarm warning
settings applicable to the cloud viewing platform.
These are the alarms triggered by the DVR, which you
can choose to be notified of when connected to your
device.
Choose the type of Event for which you wish to be
notified.
Tick Monitor Alarm to activate the warnings.
Choose Video Pop-up for the channel to be displayed
automatically in a free window.
Choose Prompt for the alarm menu to pop up when
the alarm is triggered.
You can also choose to assign a sound to the alarm
warning. To do so, click on the arrow to browse you
files and choose a sound file, the tick Sound Pop-up.
The window also displays a log of all alarms recorded.
ABOUT displays details about the cloud software.
LOGOUT exits the current session and takes you back
to the login screen.
