The rear shock absorber (1) has 7 adjustment
(1)
positions
for
different
load
or
riding
conditions.
Use a pin spanner (2) to adjust the rear shock.
Position 1 is for light loads and smooth road
conditions. Positions 2 to 7 increase spring
preload for a stiffer rear suspension, and can
(2)
be used when the motorcycle is heavily
loaded.
Standard position: 3.
The rear shock absorber assembly includes a
damper unit that contains high pressure gas.

be done by your Honda dealer.
The instructions found in this owner's manual
