Engineers made getting into and out of Fusion's back seat
easy. They did this by pushing the rear door back toward
the C-pillar. This way, someone with size 14 shoes can
enter and exit without brushing the B-pillar scuff plate or
the back of the front seat. To test the design, designers
wore size 14 shoes and got in and out of Fusion countless
times. This attention to detail is what sets Fusion apart
from the competition.
Best-in-class Trunk
• Pass-through access to the passenger compartment (almost
7 feet) when either or both of the 60/40 rear seats
are folded
• A fold-down front passenger seatback that, when combined
with the 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks, allows items
up to 9 feet long to be carried, adding to the flexibility
of Fusion
