Switch
Function
SELF TEST
Pressing this latching switch initiates a continuous system self-test. As long as the
switch is latched, continous self testing occurs. Pressing the switch again, unlatching it,
terminates the self-test.
RESET
Pressing this switch resets the system, stopping all running programs and resetting all
I/O select codes. After reset, the system waits for further instructions.
START
Pressing this switch initiates system run from an idle state. If the system does not
restart, the computer must be turned off and then powered up.
MEMDUMP
Pressing this switch dumps the contents of main memory onto the system disc. This
switch should be used only when a load fault occurs and no system message is
displayed.
