CONNECTION: Connect the AC plug to an unswitched 120V AC power source only after all chargers are installed
in the adapter and the charger locking bar is secured.

4. CLEANING: Disconnect AC power. Do not use any kind of solvent or abrasive. Use only a water dampened, soft
cloth to wipe the unit. Dry the unit before reconnecting AC power.
5. SERVICE
1. Retain your bill of sale as proof of purchase.
2. If an abnormal odor or smoke is detected, immediately disconnect the AC cord.
3. Determine if the trouble is a single charger cup or the KMB-27 power source. If the problem is a charger cup,
contact your dealer or Kenwood for charger cup replacement instructions.
4. Pack the defective KMB-27 in the original, or an equivalent box & packing. Include a note explaining the reason
service is required. Provide your name, shipping address, phone number(s) & email address so that we may contact
you, if required.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not use the KMB-27 power source in high-temperature>35° C (95° F) or high humidity environments, in
direct sunlight, or near a heater.
2.
Do not subject this charger adapter to undue vibrations or physical impact.
3.
Make sure that the battery pack(s) or radios are properly installed and connected.
4.
Clean the charger adapter with a soft cloth.
5.
NEVER use solvents, such as thinner and benzene, for cleaning.

This Warranty will remain in effect for one (1) year for accessories, measured from the date of purchase by the first end user.
WHO IS PROTECTED
This Warranty is enforceable only by the first end user.
WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Exceptas specifiedbelow, this Warrantycovers all defects in materialsand workmanship in KenwoodLand Mobile Radios & accessories. The
following are not covered by the Warranty:
1. Damage, deterioration or failure resulting from:
A.
Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorizedproduct modificationor failure to follow instructions contained in your Owner's
Manual.
B.
Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Kenwood
C.
Installation of parts or accessories that do not conform to thequalityor specifications of the originalparts or accessories.
D.
Installation of the product in, or removalof the product from,the vehicleor other site of its use.
2. Damageor loss occurring during shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).
3. Any unit, which is not new when sold to the first end user or upon which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
