been designed to offer flexibility in output signal levels depending on the type and
wiring of your cables. The line level (0dBv) and Microphone Level (-50dBv) are
only the nominal balanced output signal levels. Other levels are available when
using these outputs in an unbalanced mode. For example, if only pin #2 is used
with respect to ground (pin 1) the DV ProMix 3 will provide a nominal line output
level of –10dBv. This level is compatible with several cameras such as the PD-
150.

OUTPUTS, 3.5MM
The DV Promix 3 Mixer is also equipped with a 3.5mm stereo jack that outputs
signals at microphone level (-50dB). This output can be used to feed audio to
cameras with only a 3.5mm audio input jack. This output is protected from the
microphone bias supplied by most cameras on their external microphone input.
