Using the Telephone

Note: If the handset is in the base station or charger unit, only the
key will function.
Lift the handset out of the base station/charger unit for use.

Switching the handset On/Off

When the handset is put in the base station/charger unit it switches on automatically
and charges up.
To switch the handset off:

Making External Calls

Direct dialling

When the call is connected, the call duration will be displayed and will remain in the

Taking calls

When an external call is received, all registered handsets and the base station ring ,
The LCD backlight will be on for 15 seconds. The display shows Incoming call.
The In-use / CID LED incoming call light on the base flashes according to the ring cadence.
Note: If you have subscribed to caller ID, the caller's name or number will be shown
(if available from the network).
When an internal call is received, the handset will ring and show the calling handset number,
and the backlight will be on during ringing.

If auto-answer is set to on, the line will be automatically connected when you lift the
handset from the base/charger.
