Problem
The dishes are not
clean.
Possible cause
The dishes were not
loaded correctly.
– Were the dishes
placed inside of each
other?
– Could water reach all
surfaces?
The water feed for the
middle spray arm was
covered.
Not enough detergent
was used.
The program selected
was not intensive enough.
The spray arm jets are
clogged.
The combination filter in-
side the dishwasher is
clogged or not seated
correctly.
The drain pump or
non-return valve may be
blocked.
Not enough water may be
entering the dishwasher.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
See "Loading the dish-
washer".
Make sure that dishes
placed at the rear of the
upper basket do not
cover the water feed
tube.
Use more detergent; see
"Adding detergent".
Select a more intensive
program; see the "Pro-
gram chart" for guide-
lines.
Clean the spray arms;
see "Cleaning the spray
arms".
Clean and/or reseat the
filter. See "Cleaning and
care".
See "Cleaning the drain
pump and non-return
valve".
See "Checking the water
level", increase the water
intake time if needed.
