About Connection with another Device

Optical communication or radio communication (Bluetooth
communication between this unit and another device.
For details on how to establish the communication, refer to the operating instructions of
application to be used.
Notes on optical communication
• When the unit is wet with dripping or splashing, wipe it away with a dry soft cloth before
connecting to the other device.
• When communication with the other device is not established, try again the procedure by
referring to the operating instructions of the device.
When the interface connector of this unit or the other device is dirty, wipe the connector with
a dry soft cloth before connection.
Notes on radio communication (Bluetooth
• Communication may not be established around other wireless machines, business
machines, or power lines because their radio frequencies may cause interferences.
Do not place this unit on a vehicle or metallic desk. Otherwise, that may cause harmful
interferences to radio communication.
• When radio communication is not properly established, move the unit and the other device
closer each other, and try the communication again.
