Getting started

Tuning in stations

The tuner can receive both FM and AM
broadcasts, and lets you memorize your
favorite stations so you don't have to
manually tune in every time you want
to listen (See page 31).
1 Press TUNER to switch to tuner
mode and select the AM or FM
band.
If you're using the remote, press
repeatedly to switch between
.

If you're using the front panel, press
repeatedly to switch between

2 Tune to a frequency.
There are three tuning modes—
manual, auto, and high-speed:
Press 1 or ¡
Manual tuning:
(–·1/4 and ¢/¡·+ on
the front panel) repeatedly to change
the displayed frequency.
Press and hold 1 or
Auto tuning:
¡ (–·1/4 and ¢/
¡·+ on the front panel) until the
frequency display starts to move, then
release. The tuner will stop on the next
station it finds. Repeat to search for
other stations.
Press and hold
High-speed tuning:
1 or ¡ (–·1/4 and
¢/¡·+ on the front panel) until
the frequency display starts to move
rapidly. Keep the button held down
until you reach the frequency you want.
If necessary, fine tune the frequency
using the manual tuning method.
When you're tuned into a station, the
indicator lights in the display.
TUNED
If the station is FM stereo, the
indicator lights.

Recherche auto:
