3.11 Using Visual Dictionary

Use the Visual Dictionary to search words and their translations from
color images in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
1. To access the Visual Dictionary, press
Dictionary in the Books menu and then press
• Or hold
FN
2. Press SOURCE or TARGET to limit the search within the selected
language.
• The source language is the one in which you use for searching. The
target language is the one in which you wish to view the definition
or translation. Your current selections show at the top right of the
screen.
3. Type a word.
• See 3.12 Hints on Inputting Words.
• Or, press /
subcategories exist, repeat this step for further selections.
4. Press

5. Press the number or letter key corresponding to the callouts
in the diagram to view the word and translation in a pop-up
window.
• If necessary, press ZOOM repeatedly to zoom in or out the diagram.
In an enlarged diagram, press the direction keys, if necessary, to
move around.
