Hooking Up the TV/VCR

Connecting Cable Systems

A. To connect cable system
without a cable box
1. No cable box is required. Connect as
shown.
This connection may require additional
accessories not provided.
2. Plug in power cords of TV/VCR and cable
box.
3. See "Setting Up the TV/VCR" on page 3.
B. To connect a cable system
with a cable box to
unscramble premium
channels only
1. Connect as shown.
This connection requires additional
accessories not provided.
2. Plug in power cords of TV/VCR and cable
box.
3. Place the A-B switch in the "B" position to
watch premium channels. Place the A-B
switch in the "A" position to watch other
channels when cable box is not needed.
When using the "B" position, tune your
TV/VCR to the converter box's output
channel (usually channel 3 or 4).
