1. Depress the foot brake firmly – then the park-
ing brake pedal (1).
2. Release the foot brake. If the car rolls –
depress the parking brake pedal further.
3. To park - select gear position P.

1. Depress the foot brake firmly and then pull
the handle (2) – the parking brake pedal rises.
2. The foot brake can be released.

In certain conditions the instrument panel
display may show
soot fIlter
which point the exhaust system's particle filter
requires cleaning. This takes place automati-
cally by driving for approx. 20 minutes at an
even main road speed.
When the message clears the so-called regen-
eration is complete.
fuel caP
Hang up the fuel cap during refuelling.
