Setting the Digital Image Stabilizer (DIS)

✤ The DIS function works only in REC mode.
✤ DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for
any shaking or hand movement while holding the Camcorder
(within reasonable limits).
✤ It provides more stable pictures when:
- Recording with the zoom (DIS is not available
in Digital Zoom mode.)
- Recording a small object close-up
- Recording and walking at the same time
- Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. Press the MENU button.

The menu list will appear.
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select
Camera, then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select DIS,
then press the Joystick(OK).
5. To activate the DIS function, move the Joystick up
or down to select On, then press the Joystick(OK).

If you do not want to use the DIS function,
set the DIS menu to Off.
6. To exit, press the MENU button.

DIS ( ) icon is displayed.

Digital Zoom, Color Nite, Mosaic, Mirror, Emboss2,
Pastel2 or 16:9 Wide is not available in the DIS
mode.

When you press the PHOTO button while the DIS function is
enabled, the DIS will be released shortly and resume automatically
after the photo recording.

✤ La fonction DIS ne fonctionne qu'en mode REC.
✤ Le stabilisateur d'image numérique (DIS) est une fonction permettant
de compenser, jusqu'à un certain point, les tremblements ou les
mouvements de vos mains lorsque vous tenez le caméscope.
✤ Cette fonction permet d'obtenir des images plus stables dans les
situations suivantes :

I Si vous appuyez sur le bouton PHOTO lorsque la fonction DIS est
active, cette dernière se désactive brièvement avant d'être réactivée
automatiquement une fois la photo prise.
- Enregistrement avec le zoom (DIS n'est pas
disponible en mode Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.))
- Enregistrement d'un petit objet en gros plan
- Enregistrement tout en marchant
- Enregistrement par la fenêtre d'un véhicule
1. Placez l'interrupteur de mise sous tension sur REC.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
I La liste des options apparaît.
3. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner Camera (Photo), puis appuyez sur
Joystick(OK).
4. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner DIS, puis appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
5. Pour activer la fonction DIS, déplacez le joystick vers
le haut ou vers le bas pour sélectionner On (Marche),
puis appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
I Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser la fonction DIS,
sélectionnez Off (Arrêt) dans le menu
correspondant.
6. Pour sortir de la liste des options, appuyez sur le
bouton MENU.
I L'icône DIS ( ) s'affiche.
[ Remarques ]
I Les fonctions Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.), Color Nite,
Mosaic (Mosaïque), Mirror (Miroir), Emboss2 (Relief2),
Pastel2, ou 16:9 Wide (16:9) ne sont pas disponibles
en mode DIS.
