Limiting the
volume (AVLS)
You can set AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter
System) to limit the maximum volume to prevent
auditory disturbance or distraction. With AVLS,
you can listen to music at a comfortable volume
level.

for half a second.

(AVLS) indication is displayed. The
volume
is kept
at a moderate level.

Setting the
volume using
the
preset volume
function
There are two modes to adjust the volume Ievel.
Manual mode: Rotate the VOL
(+/-)
control to
adjust the volume level in the
range of 0 to 31.
Rotate the VOL
(+/--I
control to
set the volume level to any of
three preset Jevels: LO, MID, or
HI.
