Step 2: Charging the battery
Please charge the built-in battery before using your Network Walkman.
Connect the AC power adaptor as illustrated below. The control buttons on your Network Walkman are all
disabled while it is attached to the USB cradle.

Connect the AC power adaptor.
Connect the DC plug of the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack of the USB cradle. Connect the AC plug
to
a wall outlet,

The CHARGE lamp on the USB cradle lights
up and charging starts. It takes approximately
90 minutes". When charging is complete, the
CHARGE lamp goes out.
We recommend you to charge the battery for
30 minutes or more continuously. Your
Network Walkman requires 15 minutes to
check the battery condition to protect it
before a quick recharge starts.

The figure represents
the
charging time for an
empty battery charged in an ambient temperature
of between 0°C to 35'C (32'F to 95°F
).
The
charging time will be shortened depending on the
battery power remaining. If the battery is charged
in a low-temperature environment, the charging
time will be longer.
