The defrost circuit consists of :
control board, defrost sensor, defrost thermostat, fuses, and defrost heater.

DEFROST CIRCUIT

When the board processor has accumulated an
amount of compressor running time and the
sensor records a high resistance value above
8.5KΩ, the board sends a 12 VDC signal to the
relay and the relay energizes the heater.
