DISC NOTES

■ Disc formats supported by this player
Handling and Cleaning
● Dirty, dusty, scratched or warped discs will cause misoperation.
● Do not place stickers or make scratches on discs.
● Do not warp discs.
● A disc should always be kept in its case when not in use to prevent from damage.
● Do not place discs in the following places:
1.
Direct sunlight.
2.
Dirty, dusty and damp areas.
3.
High temperature places.
4.
On the seats or dashboard.
CD-R/CD-RW
Some CD-Rs and CD-RWs may be incompatible with this unit depending
on media type and COMPATIBILITY recording method. In addition, the following CDs may be
incompatible with this unit
CDs exposed to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods of time. CDs
recorded in which recording sessions failed or re-recording was attempted and, or encrypted
or copy-protected CDs which do not conform to the audio CD-DA red book
recording standard
Note: CD standard size: diameter: 12cm , thinkness:1.2mm
MP3/WMA Media The following types of discs/files are compatible :
COMPATIBILITY
However, mp3 recording media and accepted formats are limited. The following types of
discs/files are incompatible
Only MP3/WMA files with filename extension (.mp3) or (.wma) can be played. Do not
attempt to play discs which contain non MP3/WMA files with the MP3/WMA extension.
Acceptable Media
When using CD-RW, use full format rather than quick format to prevent malfunction.
RECOMMENDED SETTING For best results, use the following settings when burning
a MP3 disc
Electronic Shock Protection An internal buffer provides ESP to virtually eliminate skipping

64 kbps or higher constant bit rate
32 kHz or higher sampling frequency
