• The Setup menu is displayed.
Select [SIRIUS Traffic].
• The SIRIUS TRAFFIC menu is displayed.
Preparation:
• Connect the optional SIRIUS Satellite Radio Plus
Traffic Tuner (SIR-SC1 aT). (- page 31)
[Sirius Traffic] is displayed on the Setup menu by
connecting the SIRIUS Satellite Radio Plus Traffic Tuner.
Select [Setup] from the Navigation menu.
What is SIRIUS Traffic?
Route search using traffic information
SIRIUS Traffic provides traffic data to vehicles over our
nationwide satellite radio network. This includes updated traffic
information on accidents, scheduled road closings, traffic
flow and other traffic-related incidents. Since the service is
integrated with a vehicle's navigation system, SIRIUS Traffic
can help drivers pick the fastest route based on real-time traffic
conditions.
For information on the areas in which you can use the Flow and
Event functions of SIRIUS Traffic, and the applicable roads,
confirm the latest status on the SIRIUS web page.
Search for a route that avoids traffic information (such
as traffic jam). Traffic Jam

• A route search using traffic information considers the
following information, except for forecast information.
• Closed road (Except for entry closed and exit closed)
• Traffic
• Traffic Flow/Heavy
