SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance (such as a toaster) on the same circuit. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, use a 10 ampere cord. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over. -

Using the appliance The heat indicating light switches ON while the appliance is heating up and switches OFF as soon as the set temperature is reached. If the temperature of the hot iron drops, you can continue ironing while the iron heats up again to the set temperature. -
