j PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS QUICK SEARCH ( FINDING SCENES IN MOVIES )

This function provides a quick way to visually locate a particular scene from which to start movie
playback.

1 Set Mode switch to "
".
2 Press "d" or "c" to select the movie file you
want to search quickly.

Movie files are indicated by the "
" icon.
1 Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the
menu on the screen.
2 Press "d" or "c" to select the "
" EXTRA
PLAYBACK option and then press "a" or "b"
to select "QUICK SEARCH".
3 Press the "MENU/OK" button.
1 The display shows 12 scenes spaced at
equal intervals during movie playback.
2 Press "d", "c", "a", or "b" to select the
scene from which you want to start playback.
3 Press the "MENU/OK" button to start playing
the movie from the selected scene.

Movies with short playback times (around 10 seconds)
may not provide 12 scenes.

This function allows you to loop playback of a selected part of a movie file.

want to loop.

menu on the screen.

PLAYBACK option and then press "a" or "b"
to select "REPEAT".
3 Press the "MENU/OK" button.
Run the movie until you reach the scene where
you want to start the repeat and then press the
"MENU/OK" button to set that scene as the
starting point.
Playback, fast forward, rewind, pause and frame
advance can all be used.
