Stitch length
Open the control cover, then set the stitch length control dial to
the proper position.
Minimum 1 mm (0.04 in.> <position R>
Standard 3 mm (0.12 in.> <position EJ>
Maximum 5 mm (0.2 in.> <position 5>

Position "R" on the stitch length control dial is
used for narrow overlock stttch/rolled edge
stitch. (Refer to pages 40—41.>
It you raise the presser foot, the stitch length control dial can
he turned more easily.

Stitch width
The stitch width can be adjusted by turning the stitch width con
trol dial inside the control cover.

Position "R" on the stitch width control dial is
used for narrow overlock stitch/rolled edge
