Language Settings
Audio Settings
Menu; Audio; Subtitle; External Subtitle

Menu: Here you can select the preferred language for the DVD
menus.

Audio: Here you can select the preferred language for the audio
output.

Subtitle: Here you can select the preferred language for the subtitles
of the film.

External subtitle: Here you can choose your preferred subtitle
language for the external subtitles.
Digital Output
The options available are SPDIF/PCM (preferred setting for stereo out-
put), SPDIF/RAW (preferred setting for multichannel output) and OFF.
Downmix
The settings for "Downmix" are Lo/Ro and Lt/Rt.
Audio Mode
The Audio output is normally in stereo. Here you have the possibility to
choose Mono-output instead of Stereo-output.
 L/R: The Audio output is in Stereo (default).
 L/L: The Audio output is in Mono. In this case the signal of the „left"
stereo channel is transmitted to all speakers.

R/R: The Audio output is in Mono. In this case the signal of the
„right" stereo channel is transmitted to all speakers.
Child Lock (Parental Ctrl)
Some DVD contain information concerning the target group. This
method is comparable with the rating of cinema films („Suitable only for
persons of 12 years and over" e.g.).
This function requires a password (the factory setting is 8888). After
confirmation you are offered eight settings for the protection of minors.
Setting 8 can play back all videos. The smaller the number, the stricter
the setting. With "Off" the function is deactivated.
