The Amplicom 58 phone connects using a telephone cable, not directly to a router. To set it up:
1. Plug the power adapter into the back of the phone base and into a wall socket. 2. Plug the telephone cable into the phone base and into a phone wall jack. 3. Connect the handset to the base using the handset cable.
It does not support direct connection to a router.
