The safety and peace-of-mind that come with every Hyundai car is a special
point of pride for Hyundai engineers. Hyundai has accumulated a substantial
database on vehicle safety and crash testings by both computer and real world
simulations. So we're confident Genesis Coupe meets all leading crash safety
standards for full frontal, side and offset collisions. What makes the difference
is the extensive use of ultra-high tensile strength steels in critical areas of the
body structure.
Passive safety is further enhanced by front airbags which comes standard
equipped. Side and curtain airbags are available. Optional Active headrests
protect against the risk of serious injury in the event of a rear-end collision. For
improved visibility, HID headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRL) and outside
mirror repeaters are available. For added traction, a Limited slip differential
(LSD) is available as an option.
