Using the Heater
The heater uses engine coolant to
warm the air. If the engine is cold, it
will be several minutes before you
feel warm air coming from the
system.
Except EX-L and EX-V6 with Navigation
System
1.

When you select

automatically switches to the
Fresh Air mode.

Set the fan to the desired speed.

Adjust the warmth of the air with
the temperature control dial.
EX-L and EX-V6 with Navigation System

Press the A/C button, the manual
operation of A/C screen will
appear.

Select the desired mode and fan
speed icons on the display.

Using the A/C
Air conditioning places an extra load
on the engine. Watch the engine
coolant temperature gauge (see page
65
). If it moves near the red zone,
turn off the A/C until the gauge
reads normally.

button comes on when a fan speed
is selected.
