Using the Menus: Shooting Mode

Control the camera's sensitivity to light. Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is
poor; note, however, that mottling may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities. If AUTO, AUTO
(1600), AUTO (800), or AUTO (400) is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in response
to shooting conditions. The maximum value that will be selected by the camera at settings of AUTO
(1600), AUTO (800), or AUTO (400) is 1600, 800, or 400 respectively.
