DANGER
Do not disassemble or repair your optical drive
Never attempt to disassemble, adjust or repair an optical drive (CD/DVD
drive, CD-RW drive, Multi-drive or equivalent drive). You could damage
the drive. You would also be exposed to laser light or other safety hazard,
resulting in serious injury. Always contact an authorized Toshiba service
provider, if any repair or adjustment is required.
WARNING
Do not alter or disassemble your computer
Never open any cover on the computer, or remove screws or in any way
attempt to alter or disassemble the computer. Never try to connect a
peripheral device except as instructed in the manual. Doing so could
damage the computer or cause serious injury including electric shock and
burns.
CAUTION
Setting sound volume
Do not set the volume too high when using headphones. Continuous
exposure to loud sound can harm your hearing.
Removing PC cards
PC cards can sometimes become hot during computer operation. Before
you remove a PC card always wait for it to cool. You could get burned
removing a hot PC card.
